Hit & Run Company

Founded in 1988, the Hit & Run Foundation in co-ordination with the World Humanity Foundation (WHF) has raised over $20 million for humanitarian efforts. Currently, Run Away events take place every year with many participants from all over the world. The Run is a volunteer led, all-inclusive, non-competitive event with no corporate sponsorship, incentives or fundraising minimums.

In 2007 The Hit & Run Foundation created the Run Away Institutes in over 7 different countries to provide hope and to significantly improve the lives of people facing crimes against humanity. The Run Away Institutes provide a conducive living environment for the victims. In the last fiscal year (ending March 31, 2011), The Hit & Run Foundation directed $1.5 million towards its humanitarian programs.

The World Humanity Foundation has expanded beyond the traditional Run Away event as well, by holding various other events. These events include National School Run Day, where schools across hold a Run to raise funds.

"Hope is one of the greatest gifts we have been given. It carries no price tag but its value is priceless. We cling to it when the future looks uncertain and praise it when things turn out better than we could have ever imagined. Hope is the foundation on which we build our dreams and aspirations. It has been the cornerstone upon which ordinary people have accomplished extraordinary things." Dr. Qiao Liang
